Parent Teacher Body

At Mahabodhi Residential School, the Parent-Teacher Body (PTB) serves as a vital bridge between families and faculty, fostering collaboration for student success. This elected group ensures open communication, shared decision-making, and a supportive community aligned with our CBSE standards and compassionate ethos.​

Role and Objectives

The PTB promotes holistic child development by addressing academics, discipline, events, and facilities. Regular meetings discuss feedback, improvements, and policies, empowering parents as active partners in our "Meditation In Action" journey.​

Structure and Membership

  • Comprises 10-15 elected parents representing each class/grade.
  • Includes Principal, Vice-Principal, and two teachers as ex-officio members.
  • Annual elections ensure fresh perspectives; terms last one academic year.​

Key Activities

  • Quarterly PTB meetings with agenda and minutes shared online.
  • Parent workshops on career guidance, mindfulness, and digital safety.
  • Event coordination like Annual Day, Sports Meet, and orientation programs.​
