The Mahabodhi School Band holds the distinction of being the first school band troupe in the entire Ladakh region. Equipped with a comprehensive range of band instruments, the school maintains a well-organized and fully functional band unit.

The band troop, primarily composed of hostel boys and girls dressed in distinctive ceremonial uniforms, has earned widespread recognition for its disciplined performances during major national events such as Independence Day and Republic Day celebrations. Over the years, the troupe has received numerous awards and commendations from local government bodies and organizations for its excellence and dedication.

The band plays a significant role in school events, national celebrations, parades, and special assemblies, adding dignity and grandeur to every occasion.
