Class XII Educational Trip to Changthang Valley

From 17th to 19th July 2026, Class XII students of Mahabodhi Residential School , Leh-Ladakh, embarked on an enriching educational trip to the Changthang Valley.

The students visited the serene Pangong Lake, Rezang La War Memorial, ancient rock art at Tangtse, amd the Tangtse and Hanle Monasteries. A key highlight was their visit to the Indian Astronomical Observatory, Hanle, where they learned about modern telescopes and safely observed the sun through a solar telescope.

The three-day journey blended science, history, culture, nature , teamwork and friendship, providing students with meaningful learning experiences beyond the classroom and memories to cherish.
